Volunteer Director

•You have significant experience in the voluntary sector,
•Be a champion of volunteering particularly with young people,
•Ability to lead the development of our volunteering strategy including funding awareness.

Creative Industries Director

•You have significant experience in the creative industries,
•Ability to rally creative industries support,
•Give support to the Creative Director
•An ability to strategise for innovation with relevant creative technology for our organisation is desirable.

Staff vacancies available in mid-September

In September 2010, Future Arts will begin recruitment for a second wave of employees when current contracts end. If you have been out of work for a long time and are frustrated with the current economy, these jobs are available as a 6 month contract of paid work experience, doing 25 hours a week. Although no previous experience is necessary, passion and drive are key to working for a non-profit organisation where the work is for the cause, and beliefs come first.


Because Future Arts is supported by the Future Job Fund, the job opportunities will be aimed at those aged 18-25 who have been out of work and on Jobseeker's allowance for between 6 months and a year. All applicants who believe they are eligible must apply through their advisors at Job Centre Plus. Attempts to apply through Future Arts will be unsuccessful. The job roles which will be available will be as follows:


  • 1 x Personal Assistant to Training Director

  • 1 x Administrator/Quality Assurance Manager

  • 1 x Administrator/Finance Manager

  • 1 x Administrator/Human Resources Manager

  • 2 x Audio/Video Technician

  • 1 x Communications Officer

  • 1 x Junior Marketing Manager/ Sponsorship and Community Focus Officer

  • 1 x Junior Marketing Officer/ Account Manager

  • 2 x Junior Web Designer

  • 2 x Junior Graphic Designer

  • 2 x Junior Multimedia Technician

  • 2 x Junior Community Outreach Worker

 

 

Multimedia volunteers

•Multimedia volunteers must have creative, technological and communication skills as well as patience and understanding, as you will be working with young people, aged 13-19.

•You must have the ability to learn and share new skills as part of a communicative team.

•Should have experience in multimedia content creation and video production, as well as digital and computer animation and extensive programming skills.

•Volunteers need to have experience with multimedia software such as aftereffects and photoshopping, and should have knowledge of apple mac computers.

•Applicants need to be available every Thursday and Friday, 9.30am-4.30pm from 29th July to 3rd September.
