You are here: Home News & Events Erase TV

Working from the success of D:MixTV (a documentary project run by Future Arts and Gallery 37 Plus in 2008), Erase TV is here to give young people in Leeds the opportunity to get their voices heard.

As part of this volunteer work placement scheme, young people (aged 13-25) will become educated in the running and producing of television shows; they will be responsible for the filming, interviewing, researching, and presenting using state of the art recording technology. The participants will also have regular excursions to professional film and music studios. The two short films that will be produced through the course of Erase TV will have an exciting ‘life’. Not only are they going to be showcased at Hyde Park Picture House, but they will be broadcasted on the BBC Big Screen in Millennium Square and be shown at The Young Peoples Film Festival. Head over to www.erasetv.org to register your interest and find out more!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
